So according to the rules if you have over 100 people but aren’t one of the top two you don’t get a prize?Maybe I’m reading it wrong. I’ll be so sad if I’m right.
Okay, for those of you who are my friends, and even some of you who aren’t but know me from school…you should know by now that I LOVE musicals, and of course you probably know that Johnny Depp is my favorite actor, and my idol, and that Tim Burton is one of my favorite directors. So it’s no wonder that I would start a group here. I’m hoping to reach two hundred members, that way we can have a free screening of the movie. but hell just 20 would be nice. So Welcome to the Boone Sweeney Todd group titled “We’ll serve anyone at all” (which if you weren’t aware is a quote from the song Little Priest)
I just started an Atlanta Club and we need to get our numbers rolling fast. It is called Sweeny Todd Fans- ATLANTA. Join my fellow Atlailens, Even if you live Metro, join!

I’m a HUGE Sweeney Todd fan (seen six separate productions, eight if you count the two videos), and I was lucky enough to get into the L Magazine’s screening of the movie last Thursday. I was prepared to be disappointed, being the rabid nitpicky Sondheim fan that I am, but the movie is really something special. JD takes the character in a direction I’ve never seen before. I wrote a long in-depth review on the Geek Culture blog I co-edit, you can check it out here.
