So to start this blog off I thought I’d tell you a bit about myself and my love of Sweeney Todd and musicals in general.
I’ve been watching or listening to some sort of musical since I was tiny. Probably about the age of 2. But my real love of musicals started when I was about 8 and saw Les Miserables for the first time. Shortly thereafter, I found Phantom and several others.
It was late junior high or early high school that I first found Sweeney Todd–can’t remember which. It was an instant love for me. I love darker things, and dark comedy rates high on my list. Sweeney Todd is and will always be a favorite–I’ll even have costumes done for the premiere, if all goes well. ^^
